Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey reacts to Brighton's win against Man United at Old Trafford

Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has reacted to Brighton's win against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Black Stars wing-back came on as a substitute in the second half to help Graham Potters side record their first away win of the season at Old Trafford.

The Sea gulls took a two goal lead in the first half through Pascal Grob in the 30th and 39th minute before Manchester United pulled one back through an own goal scored by Alexis Mac Allister.

Lamptey who was introduced into the game in the 75th minute to replace Leandro Trossard made an instant impact with his tricky runs and pace on the flanks.

The Chelsea academy graduate in a post on social media after the game thanked the fans for the supports.

Lamptey is hoping to have a good season ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November.

The youngster was among five players announced by the Ghana FA to have switched nationality ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
