Ghana drop out of Top 50 in latest FIFA Rankings

The Black Stars have fallen by four places on the latest FIFA rankings released for the month of November.

Ghana dropped out to the Top 50 of the World by going down to 52nd position from 48th.

Egypt and Cameroon have overtaken the Black Stars after they recorded back-to-back wins in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications in the month.

There was also a drop in the Black Stars total accumulated points by one from 1438 to 1424.

Ghana's current position comes on the back of the 1-0 loss to Sudan in Khartoum during the qualifiers.

The Black Stars won 2-0 over the Sudanese in the reserve fixture at the Cape Coast stadium.

On the African continent, Ghana now lies in 8th place.

Senegal, who is 20th in the World, still leads the African table as they go up by one place in the World.

Tunisia is 26 in the World while African champions, Algeria dropped one place to 31st in the World.

Nigeria fell by three places to the 35th spot. Morocco was up by four places to the 35th position.
