Ghana duo Opoku, Lomotey begin pre-season training at Amiens SC

Ghana duo Emmanuel Lomotey and Nicholas Opoku have joined Amiens SC’s training camp ahead of next season’s French Ligue 2.

Amiens started sharpening their rough edges ahead of the forthcoming campaign two weeks ago.

Nicholas Opoku and Emmanuel Lomotey were however given extended breaks by the technical team of the Unicorns due to their involvement in the Black Stars two friendly games against Morocco and Ivory Coast.

The duo joined their teammates at the River Selle-based training facility but underwent a separate training from the group in coach Philippe Hinschberger’s bid to get them up to speed.

Amiens SC engaged lower-tier side US Camon in a friendly encounter last Friday, winning 3-0.

The club will square off against Le Havre in another friendly clash on Friday, July 2.

Amiens SC will host AJ Auxerre at Stade Crédit Agricole la Licorne on July 24 in the opening day of the 2020/21 French Ligue 2.
