Ghana youth pair Mubarak Wakaso and Richard Boateng are set for action in the Spanish La Liga this weekend after the players' union agreed to end their strike.

The La Liga season was due to begin last weekend but was postponed as players failed to reach an agreement with their employers even though the fixtures had been confirmed.

Boateng, junior brother of Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng, could make his debut on Saturday for promoted Granada against Real Betis at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

The 19-year-old Udinese loanee scored in pre-season just a week after arriving at the club.

Granada FC would have to fight to overcome an experienced Real Betis side.

Villarreal will begin their campaign on what looks a mission impossible to Barcelona on Monday.

The Yellow Submarines have managed a win and two draws in their recent five visits to the Camp Nou.

Ghana youth winger Wakaso Mubarak is likely to start from the bench.

Wakaso enjoyed an impressive pre-season scoring a cracker against Lazio in a friendly.
