Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku sounded confident when he spoke to the media after watching the Black Stars train for the last time ahead of their 2022 World Cup qualifying match against South Africa.

Black Stars trained intensively on Saturday night at the Cape Coast Stadium - the same venue that will host the important match against Bafana on Sunday evening.

Ghana are three points behind their counterparts but will top the group and qualify for the play-offs with victory.

Meanwhile, Bafana need to avoid defeat to seal progression having topped the group since matchday two when they beat Ghana 1-0 in Johannesburg.

“The technical team has been working overtime given the tiredness of the schedule and I believe that the entire country will be behind the team today.

“The boys are ready to do their very best for our dear country, the technical team is ready and we are ready and I’m sure you are also ready, so we are in the mood to make ourselves proud and to ensure that we put our right foot into the last line for qualification to the world cup," Okraku said.

The match will kick off at exactly 7 pm.
