The Accra Sports Stadium has been confirmed as the venue to host the grand finale of the 2010/2011 FA Cup competition.

This competition all over the world have a definite venue for the finals but there have been growing uncertainty as to where Ghana's version would be played after a long absence from the calendar of Ghana football.

This concern was finally allayed by the chairman of the FA Cup Committee Lepowura Alhaji MND Jawula when he spoke exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com.

"The final would be played in Accra," Jawula confirmed exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com.

"In fact the semi final played in Kumasi was necessitated by the fact that certain issues cropped up which made it virtually impossible to guarantee maximum security because of national events.

"Distance was also a factor in the semi final game with specific reference to Wa All Stars who complained of fatigue whenever they make the long journey to Accra," Jawula added.

Nania FC currently awaits the winner of the second semi final between Asante Kotoko and Wa All Stars in the grand finale.
