Ghana Football Association Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong has distanced himself from reports linking him to the Asante Kotoko Chief Executive position.
The astute sports journalist stepped down from a similar position at Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold at the end of April this year.
With the new Asante Kotoko board searching for a new CEO after the old management was dissolved last month, Acheampong's name has popped up.
But the Kessben FM Sports Pundit claims he is not in contact with anybody from Manhyia on becoming Chief Executive for the two-time African champions.
''Asante Kotoko job is one of the biggest in the world. What I know is that Kotoko is big and to be linked to the big job. It's massive but no one has called me from Kotoko concerning this job-it's big,'' Acheampong told Oyerepa FM
He previously worked for the defunct Kessben FC as administrator.
