Ghana FA ExCo donates monthly allowance to Offinso accident victims

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will donate their monthly allowance for the month of September to the Offinso accident victims.

Africa Vision Soccer Academy who were on their way back to Offinso after registration ahead of the new football season at Afrancho were involved in an accident on Saturday.

Six players died instantly leaving other players injured. However, on Sunday, two players were reported dead making the total number of death eight.

Other players who survived are currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

But a statement by the Ghana FA says the Executive Council will donate their monthly to support the accident victims.

The GFA on Sunday, September 20, 2020 sent a delegation led by Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong and Ashanti Regional Football Association Chairman, Osei Tutu Agyemang to Offinso to commiserate with families of the victims and to visit the injured players.
