Another death rocks Ghana FA as Owusu-Ansah dies

Ghana Football Association Executive Committee member Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah died on Friday morning in Accra.

His death comes just eight days after Ghana FA vice president Jordan Anagblah gave up the fight against illness.

This is the third major figure to die in Ghana football in nine months following the death of Sly Tetteh in September.

The Asante Kotoko board member Owusu-Ansah passed away at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The Member of Parliament for Kwabre West constituency collapsed on Thursday and was rushed to the Achimota Hospital where he was resuscitated.

An ambulance was called from Parliament which conveyed him to the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital from where he was referred to the Adabraka Polyclinic for an MRI scan.

His condition appeared stable but he passed away at at about 5am today.
