Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association Francis Oti Akenteng has urged the Black Princesses to make a meaningful impact at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in France.

The Princesses booked their ticket to a fifth consecutive World Cup appearance following a 4-1 aggregate victory over Cameroon where they will join Nigeria as the two qualified African teams.

Speaking to Happy FM, the technical director of the nation's football governing body, Oti Akenteng, entreated the team to make history at the tournament this time around by bringing home the ultimate.

"The Princesses always qualify but they don't make any impact so this is the time we would want them to do very well in the competition," He told Happy FM.

After missing the maiden edition of the competition in 2008, Ghana have made it to the last four editions of the competition, however failed to go past the group stage in their previous four outings.

The tournament is scheduled to kick off between 5 and 24 August 2018.
