The technical handlers of the local Black Stars team have invited 26 players for camping without players from giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The list dominated by players of Ebusua Dwarfs and Berekum Chelsea also excludes the key performers of the current U20 squad that finished second at the recent Africa Youth Championship in Algeria.

With training scheduled to start on Tuesday 2 April, players of Kotoko were excluded to enable them concentrate on the weekend's Champions League second-leg match in Kumasi against Algeria's JSM Bejaia.

Black Satellites players were also excluded because they will only be making their journey back home after participating in the tournament in Algeria.

The list includes top performers of Ebusua Dwarfs and Berekum Chelsea dominating the squad with four players each while giants Hearts of Oak have three players in the team including top-scorer Mahatma Otoo, who was recently called to the senior national team.

Other key Black Stars players in the team are goalkeepers Fatau Dauda and Daniel Agyei while Amidaus Yahaya Mohammed, who was excluded from the senior national team's squad is named in the team.

Only one player from the second-tier league, Hubert Ampah of Eleven Wise, was invited.

The training will start on Tuesday 2 April at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi and will end on 11 April.

Camping has been made possible with the Ghana Premier League on a one-week break.
