The Ghana Football Association says it plans to revive the Super Cup before the start of the season next month.

Acting General Secretary Emmanuel Gyimah claims talks are underway with corporate bodies to secure sponsorship for the season's curtain-raiser.

The Ghana Super Cup has been off the football calendar due to the lack of sponsorship.

If the Ghana FA firms up a deal, league champions Berekum Chelsea will face FA Cup winners Nania FC before the new season commences on 9 October.
