Ghana FA reduces Dwarfs ban and fine

The Ghana Football Association has reduced the home-match ban and fine imposed on Ebusua Dwarfs last month.

The Appeals Committee has slashed the 12-match ban to eight now following the charge of misconduct after fans severely beat up a referee during a league match against Aduana Stars at home in March.

Dwarfs, fined US$ 10,810 (GH¢ 20,000) for the incident, will now pay US$ 7,216 (GH¢13,350).

The Cape-Coast based side have played their last three home matches at an adopted ground.

Dwarfs are currently tenth on the Ghana Premier League table with three matches to the end of the season.
