Aduana Stars forward, Yahaya Mohammed, has advised the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to take into consideration the investment made by the clubs before deciding on the future of the 2019/20 season.

The Ghana FA is engaging stakeholders to determine the future of the season due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The football season is in limbo as there is no clear data to determine when football can return, hence there has been calls for the season to be cancelled.

The GFA is also yet to notify CAF of its decision on the league as the continent's football body awaits its member associations before it can plan it Inter club competitions.

Yahaya Mohammed in an interview advised the GFA to consider the investments made by the clubs and take a decision in the interest of all the stakeholders.

“They have to take a decision which will help Ghana football, not on any interest of a club, he told Happy FM.

“If we don’t take a decision in the interest of Ghana football it will have ripple effects. We should consider the investments these clubs have made. If there will be a compensation, then that’s fine”, he added.

Yahaya Mohammed scored 11 goals before the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season was suspended in March.
