Ghana FA to headhunt for new Technical Director

Published on: 02 April 2020

The Ghana Football Association may consider headhunting for the next Ghana FA Technical Director despite opening up for people to apply for the job.

The Ghana FA  announced last month it is looking for a qualified, proactive and result-oriented person with the ability to work in cross-divisional teams to lead its Technical Department.

Applicants from across the globe have applied for the vacant job according to sources.

The FA is set to begin the selection and shortlisting of candidates next week.

According to the Communication Director for the FA, Henry Asante Twum, the Ghana FA has the legal backing to also headhunt for the next Technical Director.

"The Ghana Football Association may result to a head hunt if they want a qualified person for the job. The Executive Council is permitted to do a head hunt and if possible they can poach some of them. They will bring out someone who is qualified for the job”, he told Happy FM.
