Ghana FA warns dropped World Cup players of violent recriminations

The Ghana World Cup players to be dropped from the final-23 man squad have been warned against possible violent recriminations.

The dropped six players will not be part of the team that will play Holland on 1 June in Rotterdam and Latvia on 5 June in Milton Keynes.

In a letter written to all 29 players in camp and seen by Ghanasoccernet.com, the rejects will emplane straight to their respective bases.

The Ghana Football Association wants to avoid the situation 2006 where some players plunged from the list launched scathing attacks on officials.

Some officials were accused of taking monies from players in return of aiding them to secure places in the final squad.

Head coach Milovan Rajevac will name his charges for the mundial on Sunday and the six players excluded will not travel with the team to Rotterdam for a test match on 1 June.
