Ghana are likely to face tough Africa sides like Senegal, Cameroon or Egypt in the final playoff as the three giants are unlikely to be seeded when the draws are made next week.

The Black Stars are among the ten countries to have sealed their places in the playoff to determine which five African countries will play at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Five countries will be seeded in the draw for the two-legged play-offs and those to be seeded will be based on the latest Fifa rankings.

As it stands now with the current FIFA ranking, the five seeded countries will be Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria, Nigeria and Cape Verde Islands.

This means if the draw was done today the Black Stars will avoid the above named four countries.

However, they will face an arduous possibility of taking on Senegal, Cameroon or Egypt if the draw was done today who are one of the tough footballing countries in Africa.

If they avoid these three countries, tricky candidates Ethiopia and Burkina Faso await the Black Stars.

Only Mali are the only country in the top five of Africa's ranking who failed to qualify for the final playoffs to the 2014 World Cup.

Ghana are among the ten countries to play in the two-legged play-offs.

The draw will take place in Cairo on 16 September.

It will be based on the latest Fifa rankings to be released on Thursday and will create five two-leg ties, with the winners going to the finals in Brazil.

The decisive games will be played in October and November.
