The Management Committee chief of Ghana’s female U-20 team, Jones Abu Alhassan has described the team’s historic feat at the All Africa Games as his most fulfilling moment in the job.

Alhassan alongside most of his committee members who have been at the helm of the Black Princesses for the past five years will be soon handing over to a new regime which has already been sworn into office.

The veteran football administrator however feels honoured to be leaving on a bright note after leading the young team to an unprecedented silver medal at the just ended All Africa Games (the committee’s last assignment).

“I feel entirely fulfilled because I made a case to the Executive Committee to give a chance to the junior instead of the senior team to participate at this games and we have not failed,” he exclusively told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“It was a plan to expose the young girls to serious competition which will aid the team’s development in the long run which was duly obliged by the Executive Committee and thankfully it has paid-off.”
