The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced the distribution of football boots to its member clubs.

The first batch of boots was given to the 48 Division One League Clubs, while the Premier League clubs will receive their boots in the second batch.

The GFA President, Kurt Okraku, revealed during the 28th ordinary session of congress on August 30, 2022, that a total of 540 pairs of boots will be supplied to both leagues for distribution to the players.

The Division One League Clubs will receive 30 pairs of brand-new boots in their requested sizes, bringing the total number of boots to be supplied to them to 1,440 pairs.

This will take the total number of boots to be given out each year to 1,980 pairs for both leagues.

The GFA aims to alleviate the financial burden on club owners in the two top-tier male competitions by providing essential equipment to the players.
