Emmanuel Boateng has expressed delight after scoring his first goal in the Saudi Pro League for new club Al Orobah.
The Ghana international was named Man of the Match after scoring in the six-goal thriller against Al Kholood last Saturday.
The former Levenate striker remains focused as he eyes more goals in the Saudi topflight league following his move from Portuguese club Rio Ave.
"Step by Step. Focused on the next game," he wrote as Orobah prepare for their game against Al Fateh on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
In a highly entertaining game, Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng opened the scoring for the host but 2023 AFCON winner with Ivory Coast, Jean Michel Seri levelled before half time.
After the break, Jóhann Gudmundsson gave Al Orobah the lead before Alex Collado responded for the home team.
Boateng shot the visitors in front with 13 minutes remaining but a late penalty from Myziane Maolida earned a point for Al Kholood.
