Ghana forward Kevin Prince Boateng has expressed delight after Hertha Berlin produced a strong comeback to record their second straight win in the Bundesliga.

Boateng lasted 60 minutes and was replaced by Jurgen Ekkelenkamp as Hertha Berlin beat Greuther Furth at the Olypiastadion.

"Thank you. The three points stay here," he wrote after the game.

Hertha Berlin were shocked in the 57th minute when Branimir Hrgota scored from the spot for the visitors.

But second half substitute Ekkelenkamp leveled just a minute after he replaced Kevin Prince-Boateng, who assumed the assistant manager role immediately.

Victory was then sealed after Maximillian Bauer netted at the wrong side to gift Hertha Berlin all three points.

Prince-Boateng's Ghanaian compatriot Hans Nunoo Sarpei was an unused substitute for Greuther Furth while Jamie Leweling came on in the second half.

Prince-Boateng returned to Hertha Berlin in the summer transfer window after 14 years since he left as a 20-year-old.
