Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has returned to South Africa to hold showdown talks with Orlando Pirates over his future.

The future of the 29-year-old has become a matter of intense conjecture after the Buccaneers signed Philani Zikalala during the off-season while he was away on international duty.

The acquisition of the former Amazulu shot-stopper has cast doubt over Dauda’s future at the club.

The Ghanaian international wants to be guaranteed regular playing time this term after falling down the perking order during his debut season.

He will not be short of offers after playing for the Africans at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where he man the post in two of their three group matches.

He is still contracted to the Soweto giants until June 2016.
