Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah has revealed he re-joined Cordoba so he could be closer to his family.

Brimah, 28, joined his former club after refusing to extend his stay with Mirandes at the end of last season.

The Ghana international has revealed he opted to join the club due to his family.

“You know I have been here before and so know the terrain very well. I joined primarily because I want to be close to my family,” he told Accra-based Kasapa FM

“I have a wife and so here and I wanted to be closer to them. I am a family man and see the need to be closer to them.

“It was one of the reasons why I chose this club. Of course I am working hard everyday to ensure I stay on top of competition.

The former Tenerife shot-stopper is currently Ghana’s number one.
