Ghana first choice goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey feels Stromsgodset have paid the price for failing to win away points in their title hunt this season.Â
Stromsgodset were knocked out of the title race by strugglers Sandnes Ulf who defeated them 2-1 in a game that featured three Ghanaian internationals last Sunday.
Stroms needed the maximum points at stake to remain in contention for the league title but the defeat ended their hopes as Molde won their game at Hønefoss to retain the title they won last season.
But Black Stars first choice goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey believes the Drammen-based side's inability to win more away points is accountable for their title miss.
"We where close but we lost it away from home because we have lost too many games away from home," Kwarasey exclusively told Ghanasoccernet.com.
But the 24-year-old has praises for his team's workout in the season.
"But overall we have had a good season so we should be satisfied.
"It will be Europa League next year which is good for the club because it is been a long time since the club finished in a position like this so its a big achievement for the club," he added.
