Ghana progresses to the semi finals of the All Africa Games as group winners after playing out an enthralling 2-2 draw with South Africa on Sunday.

Both teams had already qualified ahead of Sunday's clash in Maxaquene but goals from Portia Boakye and Faiza Ibrahim ensured the U-20 team remained undefeated though giving away two cheap goals.

Ghana will now battle Algeria in the second semi final match on Wednesday in Machava to determine who meets either Cameroon or South Africa in the grand finale.

The young ladies alongside Cameroon are overwhelming favourites to grab gold as both sides have treated fans to some delightful piece of football which has culminated in their impressive record in the tournament.
