Four Ghanaian youngsters have arrived in Italy to undergo trials with Serie A side Palermo , MTNFootball.com can confirm.

The quartet includes former Ghana Under-17 defender Princebell Adico of Bechem United, Berekum Chelsea's Awudu Moro, Godfred Donsah of DC United and Charles Manu of Accra United.

They left Accra on Thursday night and will be assessed by the club's youth team coaches for a week.

Palermo are keen to increase the rank of Ghanaian youth players in their stables following the exploits of teenager Afriyie Acquah who rose from their team.

"These boys were spotted by scouts of Palermo here in Ghana during a youth tournament and believe they can fit into the Italian system," Fifa agent Oliver Arthur told MTNFootball.com

"I have confidence in them and hopefully they will make the grade when their trial sessions begin this week."
