Former Black Stars forward Anthony Yeboah says he will advise his nephew, Kelvin Yeboah, to switch allegiance from Italy and represent Ghana.

The 21-year-old Sturm Graz attacker, Kelvin Yeboah rejected a Black Stars call up to play represent the U21 national team of Italy in June last year.

Yeboah went on to make two appearances for the young Azzuris, playing his debut game against Montenegro before following that up with a match against Luxemburg.

Despite featuring for Italy, he is still eligible to represent Ghana at the senior level per FIFA's international football switch rules.

"I will convince my nephew (Kelvin Yeboah) to play for the Black Stars of Ghana," Yeboah told Onua TV.

Kelvin Yeboah was born in Ghana but left to England at a tender age, before moving to Italy to start his youth football career.

Yeboah has been in devastating form this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in the Austrian Bundesliga.
