US Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan has likened the brand of football deployed by Pep Guardiola and Maurizio Sarri to his team.
The Mapei Stadium side have been hailed for their possession-based style football since Roberto De Zerbi took replaced Giuseppe Iachini in the summer.
The Green and Black lads are flying high on the Italian Serie A table thanks to the brand of football adopted by the 39-year-old trainer.
But when Ghana international was put to the sword to chose between Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Chelsea’s Maurizio Sarri, he said, "Who would I like to be coached by? From Sarri and Guardiola, they currently play a very proactive football just like Sassuolo,” Duncan said as quoted by Corriere dello Sport.
“De Zerbi? He is young, he understands us well and proposes a kick that I like. He is also a hammer in conveying his concepts, following you in the field and even outside, even when I was not well he was close to me.”
