Yeni Malatyaspor midfielder Afriyie Acquah has shed light on life during the coronavirus crisis.

Acquah joined the Super Lig outfit as a free agent after his contract with Empoli came to an end in June.

The Ghana midfielder was in devastating form for the Yellow and Black lads before the league was suspended in March because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 27-year-old says he's been staying indoors ever since the lockdown was announced, and revealed how he is missing his family members during the tough period.

"It is true that I’ve missed home," said Acquah on Suncity Radio.

"Right now we are indoors doing nothing so it makes me miss home and everything that much."

"For my mother, she recently visited me in Turkey so I’m cool but I’ve missed other family members and friends back in Ghana and wish to be back at home and spend quality time with them."

Turkish Super Lig clubs Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas and Trabzonspor announced they were each resuming training sessions this week.
