Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan could make his Fiorentina debut after being named in their 24-man squad for the Serie A encounter against Sampdoria on Sunday.

The 26-year-old sealed a move to the Viola on a six-month loan deal with the option to purchase for €15 million from Sassuolo during the January transfer window.

Duncan joined the side carrying an injury which has delayed his debut.

The Ghana midfielder has moved ahead of schedule in his recovery after coach Beppe Iachini claimed that he could be back in the side on February 22.

He has however been called up among the Artemio Franchi outfit 24-man squad for the Sunday’s match against rivals Sampdoria.
