Ghana midfielder Edwin Gyasi named in CSKA Sofia squad to face Riga in Europa Cup

Ghana midfielder Edwin Gyasi has been named in CSKA Sofia's squad to face Riga in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Europa Cup. 

The pacy winger was named in Coach Nesto El Maestro's 19 man squad that traveled to Latvia for the game on Thursday evening.

Gyasi who joined the club from Norwegian side Aaeslund has been an integral member of the team that finished second last season in the Bulgarian league and will be expected to start against Riga.

CSKA Sofia have a slim advantage from the first leg after beating the Latvian side 1-0 in Bulgarian a week ago.

Meanwhile, the team will also be boosted by the return of Kiril Despodov, who missed the first match because he was not fully recovered from the injury he suffered in the game against the Tsarsko.
