Ghana internatioanl midfielder Edwin Gyimah was forced off the pitch by injury during SuperSport United's game with Orlando Pirates in the South African Absa Premier League on Saturday. 

SuperSport manager Cavin Johnson was forced to effect an early substitution in the 37th minute when the versatile Ghanaian sustained an injury after going into a tussle with a Pirates opponent.

SuperSport won the tie 2-0 at the VenueOrlando Stadium at Johannesburg to condemn Pirates further down the ladder.

Ghana first choice keeper Fatau Dauda was not in the Pirates despite vowing to fight his way into the first team.
