Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey misses Amiens game against Rodez due to COVID-19

Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey missed Amiens 1-0 win over Rodez in the French Ligue II on Sunday.

The former Dreams FC midfielder is recuperating from the COVID-19 after contracting the virus during the international break.

The Amiens squad including Ghanaian compatriot Nicholas Opoku prepared for the game without Lomotey.

Ivorian footballer Cheick Timite scored the only goal of the game in the 60th minute to secure the win for Amiens who were playing at home.

Nicholas Opoku played 80 minutes in the game before he was substituted and replaced by Nathan Monzango.

Amiens after the win have moved to the 10th position on the league table with 40 points.

Emmanuel Lomotey lasted played for the club was against Troyes on March 20 in that 3-1 win which he scored before joining the Black Stars for the international break.
