Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru is on cloud nine after sealing a permanent transfer to Belgian giants Anderlecht from RB Salzburg.

Anderlecht handed the former WAFA player a three-year contract despite an uninspiring loan spell last season.

One goal in as many games, but Anderlecht believe he has something special, hence the decision to sign him permanently.

And Ashimeru is grateful to the club for another opportunity and has promised to deliver 100 percent.

“I knew I wanted a stay immediately I stepped foot here and R.S.C Anderlecht have made this possible,” Ashimeru posted on his Instagram page.

“I am very thankful to the top hierarchy through to the fans for all the support and I promise to protect and fight for the badge all through, together with my colleagues.

"I’m home and I will deliver 100% RSC Anderlecht.”
