Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey ruled out of London derby at home to Fulham

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has been ruled out of Arsenal's game against Fulham on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium, the club has announced.

Mikel Arteta has been dealt with a huge blow due to the injury of the former Atletico Madrid midfielder who has been very influential for the club this campaign.

The deputy Black Stars captain has started in all three games for Arsenal this season and spearhead them to victories against Crystal Palace, Leicester and Bournemouth.

His absence may cause a problem to Mikel Arteta's side as they prepare to host Fulham in this London derby.

Arsenal will also be without left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko due to injury.

The club announced in a post, "Oleksandr Zinchenko is left out as a precaution due to a slight sprain to left knee. Thomas Partey misses out due to a tight right thigh from Friday’s training session Both will continue to be assessed".
