Ghana Coach Goran Stevanovic will be inching closer to his final Nations Cup squad after Tuesday's international friendly with Gabon, according to his assistant Akwasi Appiah.

The Black Stars take on next year's tournament's co host at the Stade Muncipal in Paris in the build up to the finals which sees Stevanovic take a closer look at three debutants Charles Takyi, Jeffrey Schulpp and Rashid Sumaila for a place in his final squad. And Akwasi Appiah says Tuesday's game will be the last opportunity to assess players. "This is the last Fifa week that we can assess some players so the coach has taken this opportunity to assess three or four new players," he told Pravda Sports.

"That is the main reason why he tried to get two teams so he will get the opportunity of assessing before thinking of the final 23."

Ghana have been drawn in Group D alongside Botswana, Guinea and Mali and will be based in the Gabonese city of Franceville for the finals in January.

All I'm say is that ghana needs ALBERT ADOMAH on the right wing! That guy is talented. With him on the pitch he will create chances for us!

The Coach is doing exactly what Brazil is doing right now, trying new players by playing friendly matches; they played against Ghana with their full squad and few new guys, played against Gabon with totally new squad and will play against Egypt with idea of trying new guys. The bottom line is to assemble the best for their world cup team. Let's support the coach, he is doing a fantastic job by featuring many guys in all our matches. Eventually Ghana would reap the fruits. ACN 2012 is for Ghana no doubt.

ALBERT ADOMAH is the most talanted winger Ghana has at the moment, luckly for us he can play both side of the wings and can also play as a second striker

With this being the last game, does that mean that Jordan, Oduro, Asare and Frimpong won't have the chance to play in the Nations Cup? We sure could use those players.

Sadly, the guy is selecting his players from only one friendly match!

I think this squad, in all fairness, needs Jordan and Albert Adomah. Also, did you guys watch Harrison Afful? The guy is now Cool. I think his physique would be the only drawback but then, hey, who knows?

Fellows, the Coach can only select 23 players and not can not used ghana nigeria match played recently to access a player. Massahadu is good player but,we should know that,he did nothing because, nigeria was off track. Nigeria was a name not a good team oflate

All those who have been insulting Gyan,i took time to do a study of all the 'so called' top strikers on the African continent and some of the world.Below is the statics of Gyan's record and the others. After this i think some of you fools will apperciate that Asamoah Gyan is a crown jewel for this country in terms of football and you will give him the credit he deserves. The bible says ''a prophet is not honoured in his own counrty''Gyan is the best we can have and he is still proving that. Below are the statistics... Asamoah Gyan:appearance 53,goals 27 Didier Drogba:appearnce 76,goals 50 Yakubu Aiyegbeni:appearance 57,goals 21 Peter Odemwingie :appearnce 53,goals 9 El Hadj Diouf:appearance 69,goals 21 Luis Suarez:appearnce 52,goals 26 Zlatan Ibrahimovic:appearance 67,goals 28 Samuel Eto:appearnce 109,goals 54 Thierry Henry:appearnce 123,goals 51 Wayne Rooney:appearnce 73,goals 28 Luca Toni:appearnce 47,goals 16 Arouna Kone:appearnce 35,goals 9 Emmanuel Adebayor:appearnce 42,goals 18 Roberto Baggio:appearnce 56,goals 27
