Ghana new boy Nuhu eyes permanent role

Ghana rookie Abdul Razak Nuhu wants to leave an imprint on his Ghana in Wednesday's friendly against China.

The left-back is eager to stake a claim for a permanent place in the Black Stars set-up for subsequent matches.

Nuhu has been splendid for Norwegian top-flight leaders Stromsgodset and was spotted by coach Kwesi Appiah during his Scandinavian tour.

The 20-year-old, who is owned by Manchester City, hopes to solve Ghana's problematic left-back position.

"Sure, I think I have a chance to secure the left-back and everything is going to show in the game (China friendly). I think the game will decide," Nuhu confidently said.

"There is always history for everyone, if you work; there is a place in history for you.

"So I think if have the chance, I can make some history in the Black Stars."
