Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh says they deserve the 2013 African Youth Championship trophy on Saturday in the Algerian city of Oran today.

The Black Satellites coach is optimistic his charges will avenge the 2-1 defeat suffered to the Young Pharaohs in their opening Group A match.

The Black Satellites bounced back to win their matches against Benin and Algeria to book a semi-final place.

While the Egyptians comfortably beat defending champions Nigeria 2-0 in the last four, Ghana laboured to defeat Mali 4-2 on penalties after extra-time.

Tetteh believes his side have shown enough qualities to be crowned champions of Africa at the

"We have come very far and we don't deserve anything than the Cup," the 2009 winning coach said.

"At least we have worked very hard and besides that we are going to meet the team has already beaten us.

"One bitten, twice shy and we believe that we are going to pay them back and we are going to work very very hard. We are in high spirits."

Ghana are chasing a fourth title in the history of the African U20 Nations Cup.

Egypt have three title in this tournament winning in 1981 , 1991 and at 2003.

The same with Ghana that won in 1993 , 1999 and 2009.
