Ghana Premier League: Asante Kotoko to make final push for league title in last three matches of the season

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are set to make a final push for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title in the last three matches of the campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors club has not enjoyed the best of seasons after enduring what has been a difficult campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

Nonetheless, the Kumasi-based club remains in the title race and could clinch the league title at the end of the season.

Over the weekend, Asante Kotoko secured a convincing 4-1 victory over Dreams Football Club in Week 30 of the league campaign played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

That win leaves Asante Kotoko in fourth position with 54 points and just three points behind league leaders Nations FC.

The team now needs to win all three remaining matches in the league and hope that Nations FC will slip in at least one of the their matches.

In the final push for the league title, Asante Kotoko will need to beat Gold Stars, Medeama SC, and Vision FC.

Coach Abdul Karim Zito must now rally his boys to fight for the maximum nine points to stand any chance of league glory.
