The excitement and quality of the Ghana Premier League has gone global as Aduana Stars' midfielder Bright Adjei fantastic strike over the weekend has been nominated for the CNN World Goal of the Week award.
The Aduana Stars midfielder has now been named by the global broadcaster to compete with Barcelona star Luis Suarez, Javier Cortés of Mexican side Pumas and Celtic star Tom Rogic for Goal of the Week award.
The award is voted for by viewers of CNN who can use their Twitter page and their World Football show to vote for the award.
This recognition by CNN shows that the Ghana Premier League's fantastic progress this season is being recognized globally.

Adjei climbed from the bench on Saturday to score a stunning acrobatic finish to frustrate AshantiGold to a 1-1 draw with Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday.
The young midfielder came off the bench to replace Zakari Mumuni and scored a stunning bicycle-kick at the death.

He has now got the chance to compete with some of the big names which shows that Ghana Premier League can compete with the top guns in the world.
Some fantastic goals have been scored in the Ghana top-flight this season with Adjei strike as well as Wa All stars midfielder Wahid's beatifully struck free-kick have been one of the many highlights.
