Ghana Premier League Preview: Sekondi Hasaacas vs Asante Kotoko- Hasmal need win to move up
Sekondi Hasaacas

Sekondi Hasaacas will be aiming to move out of the drop zone with a win against title-chasers and nemesis Asante Kotoko in a tricky duel at the Essipong Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Western giants are languishing 14th on the log with a game in hand.

They suffered a 1-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea in the midweek.

Influential player Emmanuel Ankobeah is expected to be back to the team for the crucial game against the Porcupine Warriors this weekend.

He was absent against Berekum Chelsea in the midweek.

Midfield enforcer Ricky Adjei Mensah could also be available for selection on Sunday after missing last Wednesday's encounter with the Blues in Berekum.

Asante Kotoko couldn't make their dominance count in the midweek when they drew 0-0 with ambitious Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara.

They are two points behind league leaders Wa All Stars.

Experienced striker Seidu Bancey is facing a six match ban which makes him unavailable for the epic clash on Sunday.

He was charged for attacking referee Charles Bulu in the regional derby against New Edubiase United about a month ago.

Dependable defender Ahmed Adams can't make squad for the trip to the Western since he is battling for fitness.

He hasn't played for the Fabulous club since their stunning 2-1 loss to New Edubiase United.
