Ghana Premier League Preview: WAFA SC vs Berekum Chelsea- Academy Boys in comfort zone to account for Blues
WAFA

West African Football Academy are to make their home invincibility count against Berekum Chelsea at the Sogakope Park on Saturday

The Academy lads are undefeated in thirty two home games.

They were beaten narrowly by Asante Kotoko SC last Wednesday at the Baba Yara stadium.

Richmond Nii Lamptey was substituted in the first half of the midweek encounter after suffering an injury.

He looks very doubtful for the Blues' visit.

Umar Bashiru who missed the whole of last season is the likeliest replacement for the versatile midfielder.

He made his first appearance last Wednesday since his return from injury.

Berekum Chelsea on the other hand will be expecting an improvement in their performances on the road.

They are winless in their last twenty away games.

The Blues edged Bolga All Stars by a lone goal in Berekum last Wednesday and are determined to stop the Academy boys from chasing their home record of 43 matches unbeaten.

Stalwart defender Nicholas Opoku is making a return to the team. The centre back missed the midweek fixture against Bolga All Stars.

Asiwome Fumador is expected to break into the team. He hasn't make a single start in the premier league this season.
