Referees from the Ghana Premier League have began a five day intensive training ahead of the 2021/22 season. 

Forty five Referees and Forty five Assistant Referees have started a training course at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

The training started on Friday, October 15 and will end on Tuesday, October 19.

The Referees and Assistant Referees will be taken through various courses such as Analysis of Match Situations, Offsides, Handball situations etc.

Participants will also have practical integrated training session with players as part of their training programme.

FIFA/ CAF Referees Instructor Lee Kee Chong will coordinate the course with other Referees Instructors.

The new Ghana Premier League season begins on Friday, October 29, 2021.
