Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have close to securing a two-year-deal with goalkeeper Joseph Addo who is a free agent.
The 25-year-old former Ghana U20 goalkeeper ended his spell with Kotoko in November and agreed to switch to the Brong Ahafo region to join the Fire Club.
Despite both parties confirming the deal reports have emerged Addo will have to finalise his move to the club by completing documentation.
He left Kotoko following the arrival of former Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Ernest Sowah and loan returnee Felix Annan.
It is expected he finalises his move to the 2010 Ghana Premier League champions before the club of the week.
