One of Ghana's most celebrated sports journalists, Yaw Ampofo-Ankrah has escaped a nearly fatal motor accident, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.
The unfortunate incident occurred around the airport area where the ETV Sports anchor was returning to base after seeing off the EPL trophy tour of Ghana on Tuesday.
His Nissan Pathfinder vehicle was almost caught in an head-on collision with an unspecified taxi.
Ampofo-Ankrah however survived unhurt but the taxi driver is understood to have sustained some injuries.
