Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed his depression over the current poor form of his former club AC Milan.
The 27-year-old was sold to Schalke 04 at the beginning of the season.
Boateng’s departure has however coincided with the poor form of the Rossoneri who are currently languishing in 12th in the Serie-A.
The Ghana international says he suffers from the poor form of his former side as he remains emotionally attached to the side that made him a household name on world football.
Boateng who refuses to rule out a return to Milan believes new coach Clarence Seedorf will need much more time for him to settle at the Italian giants.
“I suffer a bit to see AC Milan in this situation, because I am still a fan and it’s always in my heart,†he told said.
“[Clarence] Seedorf is certainly better as a player, because he played for so many years. As a coach, he needs a bit of time as it’s not easy to get into a situation like that at Milan and change things in a day.
“For me, he can be a great coach, but you have to give him time.
“I do not know. In Germany, I am happy because it’s my home.
“I was born here, but in football, you never know. I lived for three years in Milan and it’s always in my heart. We’ll see.â€
