Ghana striker Emmanuel Gyasi is feeling positive as Spezia continue preparations ahead of the upcoming season.

The 27-year-old, after holidaying in Ghana, has joined his colleagues for pre-season and he is enjoying himself.

"We feel very good, we are doing a good job training well. I'm getting along well with the guys. We have to struggle but it's normal”

“I tell the fans that last year they suffered a lot, and I hope they can come to the stadium to rejoice with us this season,” he said on La Spezia podcast.

Gyasi was one of Spezia's best players last season as they avoided an immediate return to Serie B.

They survived with 39 points as they finished 15th and two places above the relegation zone thanks to Gyasi's goal contributions.

He scored five times and weighed in with six assists in the league.
