Ghana striker Joel Fameye steers Dynamo Brest to Belarus FA Cup final

Ghana youth striker Joel Fameye scored for his club Dynamo Brest on Wednesday night to steer them to the final of the Belarus FA Cup final.

The former Ghana U17 striker scored the second goal as the home side thrashed Dnipro Mogilev 4-1 in the first semi-final of the competition.

The victory means Dynamo Brest advance 6-1 on aggregate having won the first-leg 2-0 in the match played two weeks ago.

This means the wards of coach Radoslav Lata became the first finalist of Belarus FA Cup with the second semi-final match set to played on Thursday.

Brest recorded the opening goal through Artem Milevsky in the 22nd minute while Joel Fameye increased the advantage of the guests in the 55th minute.

Further strikes from Roman Iuzepchuk in the 70th and in the 82nd minute of the match by Denis Levitsky sealed the victory.

 

Brest will compete with the winner of the second semi-final match between Neman-BATE.
