Ghana striker Jordan Ayew received a red card on a night his Ligue 1 side Sochaux were beaten 2-1 by Monaco on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was shown a straight red card by referee Mikel Lesage in the 84th minute for a savage tackle on Andrea Raggi.

Despite being told to work on his temperament, it was his second red card in the French Ligue since making his debut in the 2009/2010 season for Olympique Marseille.

Last week, he came off the bench to score a goal in the 2-0 win over Bordeaux.
