Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has praised Ghana striker Brandon Thomas-Asante for his significant contribution to the team's 2-0 win over Middlesbrough.
Thomas-Asante, who came off the bench and played 18 minutes, registered an assist and impressed Lampard with his physicality, speed, and desire.
Lampard was impressed with Thomas-Asante's performance, saying, "Shout out to Brandon who came on showed physicality, speed and desire.
He's been injured, came back, trained well and has been telling me he's ready and he showed me he was ready today and he had a massive impact on the game."
The win has kept Coventry City in the playoff race for a spot in the English Premier League next season.
With Leeds and Burnley already securing promotion, four teams, including Coventry City and AFC Sunderland, will battle for the last qualification spot.
